Love That is Forbidden

A dear friend of mine is heartbroken for her love is forbidden.

So, I found this very interesting poem about this kind of love 

and I pray that both of them can move on.

You are strong and yes, it will be hard at first.

But just so you know, I am here for you.

Forbidden Love

I’m not allowed to love you.

I can’t help that I do.

You’re not allowed to care for me,

        Yet, I know that you do

I can’t say, "I love you",

        For fear you’ll walk away.

You can’t tell me that you care,

        For fear I’ll want to stay.

The times we spend together

        Are moments stolen in the night.

Your kisses of love and passion

        Take away all my cares and frights.

My heart pounds out loud.

        My body tingles with thrill.

We make love for hours,

        If only time could stand still.
